Meet Dan
Like most people, I was given some pretty bad financial advice when I was younger and graduating high school. For me, this led to a University I could not afford, a job in a low-ceiling field, and financial rock bottom when the job market shifted, and I had to move my family in with family. All within seven years.
Determined not to end our story this way, I dug deep, found that "grit", and got to work.
Twentyish years later and by God's grace, here I stand: Happily married with four fantastic kids (two grown, one in the Ohio National Guard), a BBA in Finance, summa cum laude, in hand as of 2007, and my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification earned in 2018.
And, with 17 years of financial planning experience in larger corporations, I am embarking on my next greatest adventure: Wrought Iron Financial, LLC. After successfully pulling myself up and forging my own better future for my family and I, I formed my own independent, fee-for-service RIA firm to embrace the fiduciary standard of care for my clients. No commissions or sales gimmicks - just financial planning done with intention and purpose-driven investment management.
